About Fayette County Court Docket

Fayette County court records are divided among several custodians. Sheila Studdard's office keeps Superior, State, and Magistrate files, Probate has a separate clerk and portal, and each municipal court follows its own route. This private reference site organizes those official paths so a reader can identify the proper portal, courthouse counter, or phone number for a specific docket need.

Why We Built This Site

Public access does not mean every Fayette County record appears in one database. The county Court Docket link, PeachCourt, Georgia Probate Records, court calendar pages, and city systems cover different matters. Georgia's Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., governs public-agency records, while court-file access follows the judicial boundary reflected in Uniform Superior Court Rule 21. We bring those routes and distinctions together without claiming custody of the records.

What You Will Find Here

  • Record requests: how certified copies and court records are requested from the proper clerk
  • Case lookups: how to use the county and court-specific routes in the case lookup guide
  • Docket guides: how Fayette County criminal and civil docket searches differ
  • Court settings: how to read published court dates and verify a hearing with the clerk

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Georgia court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, prices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports site operation. We do not set a partner's charges or determine the information it returns.
